Condition

The canvas is not lined and there appear to be no signs of retouching visible under UV light. There is some craquelure and paint shrinkage mainly to the darker pigments. There is a fine horizontal stretcher line towards the upper edge with associated fine cracks. There are some very slight specks of paint loss to the extreme edges, not visible when framed. Otherwise, this work is in fairly good condition. Colours: The colours are much brighter in the original compared to the printed catalogue.
