Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a small area of retouching to the centre of the horizon and a further few tiny specks to the sky. These retouchings are visible under UV light. There is some very light and stable craquelure to the centre of the sea. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the colours are slightly richer in the original.
