Condition

This work is in good condition. The canvas has a glue lining and as a result the surface is somewhat pressed. While the varnish layer is somewhat hard to read through, when examined under ultraviolet light, several spots of inpainting are visible near the upper left corner and in the trees near lower right. The work is brighter overall than as shown in the catalogue illustration with more pink and blue tones in the sky.
