Condition

The canvas is not lined and there appear to be no signs of retouching visible under UV light. Apart from some very light paint shrinkage to the darker greens and blues on the left edge, and a tiny line of craquelure in the upper right quadrant, this work is in good original condition. Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the original is slightly brighter and the surface is more textured.
