Condition

The canvas is not lined. There appear to be some retouchings at intervals along all four extreme edges, and some further areas to the darker blue pigment and a small spot to the upper left white pigment of the piano. These retouchings are all visible under UV light. There is some very fine craquelure to the white and cream pigments. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although slightly fresher in the original.
