Condition
The canvas is not lined. Under UV light there appears to be no evidence of retouching although some pigments do fluoresce. There is a very short stroke of dirt to the sitter's right shoulder and one tiny chip of paint loss to the lower left background. This work is in overall very good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although more vibrant and with greater contrasts in the original.
