Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, T-hinged to the mount at the top two corners, all four edges are deckled. There is a small nailhead-sized spot of paper skinning to the lower right corner and a very small tear to the lower left edge. There are two areas of discolouration, one towards the upper edge and another to the centre of the composition, and some minor surface dirt. There is some slight undulation to the sheet mainly to the left and right edges. This work is in good condition. Colours: The paper tone is much warmer and more subtle in the original than in the printed catalogue.
