Condition

There are some scattered air bubbles to the brown central area of the plate, inherent to the artist's process with some associated pinhead-sized spots of paint loss. There is a 5mm. area of paint loss to the upper edge of the navy rim, probably due to an air bubble and visible in the catalogue illustration. There are some irregularities in the glaze and some light craquelure, both inherent to the firing process. This work is in good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the tones are slightly warmer in the original.
