Condition

The canvas is strip-lined. There appear to be no signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are three minor spots of fluorescence along the left half of the lower edge, probably due to surface losses. There are two pinhead-sized paint losses towards the lower right edge. Apart from some very light craquelure towards the lower centre, this work is in very good condition. Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the colours are more vibrant in the original, especially the reds and the yellows.
