Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick layer of uneven and discoloured varnish throughout, preventing the UV light from fully penetrating. There appear to be few thin lines of retouching, two in the upper right quadrant and one on the left side of the bottle. There are a few very small areas fluorescing under UV light, possibly retouching. Otherwise, apart from a 1cm. thin scratch towards the lower left edge, this work appears to be in very good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the tones are warmer and richer in the original.
