Condition

The first, seventh and ninth are framed together. All three sheets are float mounted and have surface dirt along with a darker line evident at the edges, most likely dirt and staining from a previous framing and acidic mat. The first has two very minor horizontal tears along the left edge and a minor vertical tear along the lower edge. The seventh has a lower edge that is slightly nicked and a ragged right edge. The ninth has a ragged lower edge. Bonnes fetes Georges is framed by itself. The sheet is in generally good condition aside from uneven edges, slight rippling and a crease across the upper left edge. The sheet is toned overall with a lighter area 1/2 inch wide visible at the top and lower edges. The third, fourth and fifth are framed together. All three sheets are toned but in generally good condition. The third has some minor losses to the black gouache in the upper left quadrant and along the lower right edge. The sixth and eighth and framed together. The sixth is laid down on an irregular sheet. The colors are bright and fresh and there are minute losses along the lower edge. The eigth has slight craquelure to the gouache and staining throughout, especially in the right half.
