Catalogue Note
The child in the present drawing is most likely Ludovic-Rodolphe Pissarro (1878-1952), the fourth son of Camille and Julie Pissarro. The drawing may relate to the painting La petite Bonne de Campagne (1882; Joachim Pissarro & Claire Durand-Ruel Snollaerts, Pissarro: critical catalogue of paintings, no. 681) and was most likely executed circa 1880.
