Catalogue Note

The present reference 1665 is part of the third generation from the model Double Red Sea Dweller. It is so called Mark III by Rolex collectors who have found different characteristics in the printing on the dial and the case design. The red printing is similar to the Mark II, although the depth rating text is heavier, the coronet appears  more elongated in form than the previous generations.
