Movement not running while cataloguing, a service is recommended in the future in order for it to be well preserved. Dial with few minimal signs of wear, in a very well preserved condition. The case is in a very good condition, slightly scuffed to the surface. Overall this is a rare example fully complete from the period, interesting provenance, in a well preserved condition.

Prince Igor Nikolayevich Troubetzkoy was born August 23rd, 1912. A well known skier and an amateur bicycle champion, he also developed an intense interest in auto racing. In 1948, he formed an international racing team "Gruppo Inter". He was the driver of the first Ferrari to ever compete in Grand Prix Motor Racing.
