Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey have been working together for nearly two decades in a relationship founded on their shared technical creativity. In 2004 they launched their very high-end company based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland and stunned horological aficionados with their innovative timepieces which clearly demonstrate their twin goals of invention and excellence.
The present model is an innovative interpretation of Greubel Forsey's renowned Double Tourbillon 30°. An inner tourbillon inclined at a 30° angle completes 1 rotation per minute. An outer tourbillon completes 1 rotation in 4 minutes which is hand-bevelled and open worked cage pillars, solid gold counterweight. A 120-hour power reserve is guaranteed by a four fast rotating co-axial barrels, one of which is equipped with a slipping spring to avoid excess tension. These highly technical elements ensure absolute precision and efficiency.

Furthermore the present model won the 1st price in the tourbillon category of the Concours International de Chronométrie 2011 (International Chronometry Competition) with 915 points out of a maximum of 1000. The contest consists of a 15 day test in various positions and temperatures to award the most precise watch.
