Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a certificate and presentation case.

In addition to its precision tourbillon function, the present model is a very rare and elaborate piece that displays a temperature indication. Very few pieces were made with this rare combination.

The addition of the temperature indication derives from the original pieces of Abraham-Louis Breguet. The Master of watchmaking created the tourbillon in 1795 and also commonly used the temperature indication. This present watch is most probably a special request executed at the same time as the Sympathique set which also displays the thermometer device on the clock while the wristwatch incorporates the tourbillon and power reserve indication.
