Condition

The movement is running and the calendar is advancing at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service in order to be well preserved. Dial is in good condition. The case with some very light scuffs but overall in good condition.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Certificate of Origin dated 2009, setting tool, instructions and presentation case.

Reference 565 was launched in 1938 with calibre 12-120. The second generation came to the market in 1942 featuring a calibre 27 SC movement, such as the present watch. Only 60 example of the reference are known from the market of these very few produced in stainless steel. As a rare reference, the model is favoured for its two-piece case with screw-down back. The appeal of this example is greatly enhance by its well preserved condition.
