  • A FINE 18K GOLD AND ENAMEL EXTRA FLAT WATCH WITH BAGNOLET CALIBRE CIRCA 1830
  • diameter 40 mm
• gilt full plate cylinder movement with scrolls and foliage, bagnolet calibre • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track • gold case, dark blue and white enamel pattern to both case backs, foliage motifs to the background, a cartouche in the centre on both side with polychrome painted enamel figure of Napoleon riding his horse and a mythological figure • movement signed Dubois & Cie 

Condition

Movement running while cataloguing, all functions appear fully operational however it may require a service in the future to be well preserved. Dial in a well preserved condition. Case with some signs of wear and small missing parts to the bottom part of foliage decoration. The two enamel panels that are showing both Napoleon and a mythological scene are in a very good condition. Overall this is a well preserved example with highly unusual decoration due to the representation of Napoleon.
