• gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, twin barrel, bell striking can be activated by a pusher in the band • silver champlevé dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic arcaded minutes track • pierced and engraved inner case, outer repoussé case with pierced cartouches, central scene depicting the tanning of a bulls skin within a forest • movement signed Beauvais, London

Condition
The movement is running and striking at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. The dial is scuffed and worn but is overall in good condition. There are scuffs throughout the inner case, the outer repoussé is quite worn and has lost much of its definition. The bezel is slightly dis-coloured.
