  • diameters: the first: 44 mm, the second: 45 mm
both: manual winding nickel lever movements, 18 jewels, subsidiary seconds, snap back • the first: applied Breguet numerals, presentation engraving to the case back • the second: applied Arabic and baton indexes, pink gold accent to the bezel • case, dial and movement signed 

Condition

The movements are both running at the time of cataloguing, however they may require service soon. The first has movement number 880877 and case number 621055. The movement is stamped with the Geneva seal and PXP for the American market. There is a small spot of oxidation to the movement. The dial has spotting throughout, particularly between 10 and 1 o'clock, and what appears to be a fingerprint at 4:00. The case back is engraved 'To Frank W Taylor, from his fellow directors after 25 years as managing editor of the St Louis Star Times, May 17, 1941.' There is some oxidation to the bezel ar 11:00. The second watch has movement number 880598 and case number 617952. The dial is very nice and appears original. The bow may be a replacement. Both cases show surface scuffs.
