  • A LADY'S FINE AND RARE 18K GOLD ENAMEL AND PEARL-SET MINUTE REPEATING HUNTING CASED WATCH, MADE FOR THE CHINESE MARKET CIRCA 1900
  • Gold, enamel
  • diameter 34 mm
• 12" ligne lever movement engraved overall with scrolling motif, highly jeweled, slide repeat, bi-metallic compensation balance, gold cuvette • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds • the case centered by medallion depicting polychrome enamel figures in 18th century dress in a love garden setting, bordered by translucent red enamel over a wavy engine-turned ground, the reverse with translucent red enamel, centered by a finely enameled lady, pearl-set bezels, band decorated with gilt foliate motif on red enamel ground

Condition

The enamel is in excellent order. The hands are hung up and the watch is not running. It will require full overhaul.
