- A HEAVY 18K PINK GOLD HUNTING CASED QUARTER REPEATING TRIPLE CALENDAR WATCH WITH MOON-PHASESCIRCA 1880

• jeweled nickel lever movement, two polished steel hammers quarter repeating on coiled goings, engraved pink gold cuvette • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, moon-phase aperture, subsidiary dials for day, date, and month combined with constant seconds • repetition slide to the band • unsigned
Condition
The balance oscillates when wound, quarter repeat functions when activated, calendar advances, but the movement will need an overhaul. Winding is somewhat difficult as the movement needs to be thoroughly cleaned when overhauled. There are chips to the dial, particularly to the date subsidiary dial and to the edges of the day subsidiary dial. There are light scratches to the case. The case is numbered 11760. The cuvette appears to have been replaced and is numbered 1465. The cuvette reads, AUX FABRIQUES DE GENEVE/maison a Paris.
