Condition

The quartz movement is currently not running and will require replacement battery. The movement is numbered 55408954 and the inside of the case is numbered 6423-0970 The case shows a few surface scuffs to the back but overall quite nice condition.

The commemorative edition of this watch was made in 1000 examples. Each of these numbered watches were presented to important Olympians and Oympic supporters by Longines, the official timers of the 1984 games. This particular watch, number 35, was presented to swimming legend Mark Spitz.
