Condition
The first: The balance oscillates when wound, but the movement will need to be serviced. The dial has spotting towards the outer edges, but the printing to the signature and subsidiary seconds are well preserved. The case has light scratches and a small dent to the concealed hinge. The monogram reads, ARP. The case is numbered 60409, the cuvette reads, Allan Rogers Phipps/ October 3, 1933. The movement is numbered 38293.
The second: The balance does not oscillate when wound, the watch does not function and will need an overhaul. The dial has some light scratches, there are a couple minute chips to the outer edge of the dial near 3 o'clock, but only visible when the bezel is opened. There are light scratches to the case. The case and cuvette are numbered 10787 and the movement is numbered 33087. The movement is signed by bother retailer and maker.
The third: The balance oscillates when wound, but the movement will need to be serviced. The dial does not appear to have any chips or hairlines. There are light scratches to the case. The case and cuvette are numbered 703858. The movement is numbered 606456 and 31457 (patent number).
The fourth: The balance oscillates and chronograph functions when wound, but the movement will need to be serviced. The dial has a tiny chip near the 30-minute register hand, hairlines to the outer edge near 11 o'clock and near the center arbor. There are light scratches to the case. The case, cuvette and movement are numbered 127412.
The fifth: The balance oscillates when wound, but the movement will need to be serviced. The dial has spots and scratches and oxidation to the numerals and outer edges (heaviest discoloration near 12 o'clock. The case needs to be cleaned and there are light scratches throughout. The case, cuvette and movement are numbered 48153.
