the watch is in overall good condition, the enamelling is top quality and most likely can be attributed to Graff, the condition is very good with minor surface wear, the dial appears to be in good condition, no apparent hairlines, the reverse of the case crisply engraved, reflecting that the watch was kept well, movement is running and also in good order, although probably would benefit from cleaning. What is exceptionally interesting is the fact that the watch is stamped is made in the USA, it would appear that present piece was commissioned and is of the highest quality and possibly intended as a gift. Please note that the portrait has been identified as the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, wearing his coronation robe in 1911.

The portrait on this watch features a royal figure, most likely an Asaf Jahi Nizam of Hyderabad during the Asaf Jah Dynasty (1720-1948) or a member of the royal family. The iconic monument of Hyderabad, Charminar, which means "four towers" in Urdu, is portrayed on the reverse of the watch, instantly recognizable from the four minarets and prominent arches. The surrounding Urdu script is typical of benedictory scripts from the Qur'an.
