Catalogue Note

The design of this movement was based on the work of Christophe Claret. Together with Corum, the talented watchmaker created an exclusive and limited series of skeletonized tourbillon wristwatches, named 'La Mysterieuse' for their brilliantly designed movements which utilize transparent plates and bridges. Examples in platinum were made only upon special request.

Claret entered the Geneva Watch School at the age of 16, later training with a specialist in complications. Finally working by himself, he restored watches for collectors as well as making his own movements. Today Christophe Claret's creations are recognized for their innovative nature and high quality and can be found in watches by, amongst others, Corum, Harry Winston, Jean Dunand, Guy Ellia, Ellicott and De La Cour.
