In nearly unworn condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may require service soon. The dial is very clean with no visible imperfections. The case shows virtually no signs of wear save light scuffs on the lugs. The strap of this watch contains endangered species; please see Important Notices for further information.

The pink gold tourbillon carriage on the present example is mounted between sapphire crystals, giving the illusion that the cage is suspended or floating, seemingly unconnected to the movement.

This model is named for the date on which Abraham Louis Breguet patented the tourbillon, the 26th of June 1801. Messidor refers to the revolutionary month, known as June on the traditional Gregorian calendar.

This model was launched by Breguet at the Basel Fair in 2007.
