• gilt full plate verge movement signed John Berry, London 1321, pierced and engraved balance cock • champlevé dial, Roman numerals, Arabic outer, blued steel hands • polished inner case, outer repoussé depicting a classical female within a landscape with putti • inner case stamped with maker's mark RH and numbered 1321, hallmarked London 1726
Condition
The verge movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service. The champleve dial with small area of black lacking at 8 o'clock. Inner case with scuffs throughout and some small indentations. The outer repoussé in good condition.
