• gilt three quarter plate lever movement, jewels in screwed chatons, two trains with tandem winding, cut bi-metallic balance, index for the regulator, two hammers striking on gongs, activated by a button in the band, silent/striking for the hours and quarters or quarters only by activating levers beneath the bezel • white enamel dial, Turkish numerals, outer minute track and fifths second indication for the chronograph with Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary dials for months and leap years concentric with 60-minute register, days of the week, date, seconds and lunar calendar, aperture for moon-phases •  case back engraved with foliage and geometric pattern, centred by Turkish crescent moon • movement signed, case maker AB, London hallmarks

Condition

Movement ticking while cataloguing, a service is recommended in the future for it to be well preserved. Dial in a very well preserved condition. The case maintain all its beauty and thickness, it is in a very good condition, slightly scuffed to the surface. Overall this is a rare example from the period in a well preserved condition, it will need adjustment to the movement and especially the balance.
