Condition

The movement is running and the calendar is advancing at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service. The dial is in good condition, the silvering to the day aperture is bubbling slightly but this is not visible with the naked eye. The case is worn and scuffed.

Catalogue Note

Reference 1526 was launched in 1941 and was mainly produced in yellow gold, some few in pink gold and only one example has appeared in stainless steel.

The first series was produced in small number with indirect centre-seconds indication. The second series was made with a subsidiary constant seconds dial combined with date.
