Condition

The movement is running while cataloguing and all function appear fully operational. The dial shows some rare and small scratches. The case has been gently polished. This watch is in overall good condition. This is an interesting example of this reference.

Catalogue Note

Reference 130 was manufactured from 1936 until circa 1964 and was the first referenced chronograph produced in series by Patek Philippe. Standard versions of the reference bear Arabic or Roman and baton numeral dials; the present wristwatch carries the combination of baton numeral dials. Examples of reference 130 and the calibre 13-130 are illustrated in Huber, M., & Banbery, A., Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Second Edition, p.262-264 and 269.
