Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may require service soon in order to be well preserved. The dial does have a chip visible just to the left of the 6 o'clock index that has been moderately repaired. The case shows some light scuffs from light wear, but excellent definition overall and is in unpolished condition. The lugs are very well preserved. The bracelet shows surface scuffs to the top.

Catalogue Note
This watch was produced as part of a special order from the Patek Philippe retailer in Saudi Arabia to honour King Ibn Saud.
Born in 1876, Abdul al Aziz al Saud, known as Ibn Saud, in 1932 became the first king of modern Saudi Arabia. Under his reign, the Kingdom prospered, especially after the 1938 discovery of oil beneath his sands.
