Condition

Both copper plates are flat and paint surface is stable. there is excellent retention of the paint surfce and lovely detail on both. under UV: the portrait of woman in pink has a tiny bit of retoucing at lower right corner; the woman in black has some tiny dots of retouching on face, a couple on hands, a few scattered on costume, sky and in gold background. there is also a bit of retouching at lower edge. these have all been very well applied and there is no need for further work. In a plain black ebonized wood framed.
