The pendant composed of a carved jadeite plaque, circa 1900, depicting scholar's ornaments and auspicious emblems, surmounted by a geometric platinum openwork plaque set with single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.05 carats, and onyx tablets, suspended from a white gold chain composed of jadeite beads measuring approximately 4.5 mm, and white gold links applied with black enamel, length 20 inches.
Condition
Diamonds of approximately I to J color, SI clarity. Onyx intact. Several of the enamel rings have areas of loss but none are major. Metal shows some surface wear. In good condition. Chain clasp appears to have been later added.
