- 18 karat gold, diamond, ruby, enamel, brooches
Each designed as stylized folded lace applied with white enamel, the larger brooch set in the center with round rubies, signed Van Cleef & Aprels, numbered 51805, workshop mark, French assay marks, the small brooch set in the center with round diamonds weighing approximately .65 carat, and round rubies, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, workshop mark, French assay marks.
Condition
Please note both pieces have workshop mark for Pery & Fils. The goldwork and detailing on these pieces is very fine.
Larger brooch: many of the small tendrils around the edge are either bent or missing.
Smaller brooch: There several areas with loss to the enamel on the outer rim. Several of the outer tendrils are bent. Diamonds are approximately G to H color, VS clarity. Rubies are a deep pinkish red and lively.
Overall condition fair to good.
