Including a pair of 18 karat two-color gold and diamond eyeglasses, set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.50 carats, signed C. by Mellerio, Paris, workshop and French assay marks, with case signed Mellerio dits Meller, 9 rue de la Paix Paris; a pair of gold eyeglasses, unsigned; and an 18 karat gold hand mirror, gross weight approximately 36 dwts., with fitted case.
Condition
Diamond eyeglasses: diamonds of approximately H to I color, VS to SI clarity. Metal shows minor surface scratches due to wear. Platinum ones are signed Mellerio and have French maker's marks on the underside. One of the lenses is cracked straight-through and has been glued together for display purposes. The lenses carry a strong prescription and would need to be changed to suit the individual wearer.
Yellow gold glasses: metal with surface scratches and minor dents due to wear. Lenses carry a strong prescription and would need to be changed to suit the individual wearer..
Mirror: metals has light surface scratches due to wear. Mirror is loose.
All items in fair to good condition.
