The rectangular case composed of ribbed black fabric, measuring approximately 9½ by 7½ by 1 inches, the clasp applied with white enamel, flanked by coral beads measuring approximately 11.8 and 11.6 mm., set with small rose-cut and round diamonds, signed inside purse Cartier Ltd. London.
Condition
Good condition. The coral a peachy red color with slightly mottling and several small soiled cavities. Overall scratching and one small areas of loss to the enamel. The rose-cut diamonds decorative in quality; 1 rose-cut missing (seen under close inspection). The round-cut diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Soiling to the matte black silk interior, but minimal in light of age. The ribbed exterior in very good condition.
