- 18 karat gold, green tourmaline, diamond, ring
Set in the center with an emerald-cut tourmaline weighing 14.98 carats, flanked by round diamonds weighing .80 carat, size 6¾, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, VCA, numbered CL271, maker's mark, French assay mark.
Condition
Good condition with light nicking and scratching to the shank. The deep, slightly bluish green tourmaline is comparable in color to the printed catalogue. Of square emerald-cut outline with mixed-cut (vs. step-cut) faceting. Eye-clean. The open scrollwork undergallery is visible through the pavilion. Measures approximately 12.91 x 13.30 x 8.57 mm., shank stamped 14.98 for the carat weight of the tourmaline, and .80 for the diamond weight. Diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Please note that although the ring is signed VCA, we are unable to guarantee its authenticity.
