Condition

In need of some minor attention. Reblocked. Joints unstable and will need securing. Some minor areas of the painted decoration has flaked off as visible from photo. Some refreshment to painted decoration especially to the backs on one chair . There is an old restoration to the rear of the top- rail and the underside of the stretcher and where the rear left leg has broken it has been streghtened on the reverse with a piece of metal on one chair . Attractive detail to painted decoration. Some hairline construction cracks to joints commensurate with age and usage. On another chair there has been a break in one of the side-rails which has also been stregthened with a piece of metal. On another chair there is a gap where the right leg joins the side-rail which would benefit from being filled. The chairs are a little dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste.
