Description

  • amaranth tulipwood gilt-bronze
  • 86cm. high, 66cm. wide, 38.5cm. deep;2ft. 10in., 2ft. 2in., 1ft. 3in.
with a rectangular mottled red, grey and white marble top above a frieze drawer inlaid with Vitruvian scrolls above two further drawers, the sides with raised panels inlaid with a tablet with concave corners applied with a gilt-bronze roundel, on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet

Condition

In overall good condition. Some very minor areas of infill to the restored marble top which has been broken in the past which is only visible when the underside of the marble is inspected as the repairs have been well executed and hardly noticeable.There is a triangular patch to the veneer at top of the left leg. The sides are a little warped but this is not too noticeable. Apron mount possibly a later replacement.
