Description

  • gilt-bronze, paint , metal
  • 110cm. high, 94cm. diameter;3ft.7in., 3ft. 1in.
with six gilt-bronze candlearms each issuing a pair of painted tôle candle -nozzles, the stem mounted with mirrored cartouches, the whole with foliage issuing porcelain flowerheads; possibly incorporating some earlier gilt-bronze elements on the stem

Condition

Generally in good condition. There are some old minor repairs to the gilt-bronze stem. One mirrored cartouche has been replaced with aluminium. Some refreshment to the painted tôle. Some minor chips to the porcelain flowerheads and some are missing. The piece is drilled and fitted for electricity. Higher up the stem there are some very small holes in the gilt-bronze and some very minor breaks in the mirror, which are hardly noticeable.
