Description

- 62.5cm, 24 5/8in high
on spreading pedestal foot embossed with opposing boxing gloves and two clasped hands below a body embossed on one side with an openair boxing match, the combatants surrounded by a crowd of spectators, the other side with vacant cartouche, detachable cover with figures of two boxers shaking each other by the hand, the foot engraved: 'A.G. PIESSE. Manufacturer, 21 Great Sutton St. Clerkenwell.'
Condition
One cartouche with erased inscription. A few dents to rim of cup and rim of finial. Normal little bumps and bruises, marked on body, cover and finial, marks good, overall condition good.
