Description

  • Ebony, brass, metal
  • 72cm. high, 137.5cm. diameter; 2ft. 4¼in., 4ft. 6¼in.
the tilt-top with a cut brass foliate and crossbanded border, the paw feet with concealed castors

Condition

Lovely figuring and colour to the timber. The top with old marks and scratches. Brass inlay tarnished and slightly lifting in places. A part of this border has been repaired due to an age split through the top. The tilt top formerly with detachable fixing bolts. Now disguised and the apertures filled, the tilt-top action works well though with these replaced and hidden bolts.
