with serpentine and over scrolled upholstered seats, re-gilt
Condition
Decorative. Losses to gilding and gesso. This surface finish tired in places. Separations at joins and one seat with a loose frame and repaired fracture to the upper part of one leg.Both including gessoed repairs two where there has been a loss of carved detail. An elegant pair that will benefit from some workshop attention. Can be viewed 'in the round'.
