Description

  • gilt-bronze, mahogany
  • 75.5cm. high, 42.5cm. wide; 2ft. 5¾in., 1ft. 4¾in.
with a circular gilt-bronze-banded top on three pairs of gilt-bronze simulated bamboo supports joined by a concave-sided stretcher centred by a galleried mahogany graduated tier on a simulated bamboo supports on three splayed legs with ribbed panels and acanthus cast pad feet

Condition

The quarter veneered top has been reveneered with some small losses at the edge. The metal rim loose. There are losses to the cavetto frieze below this metal rim. The mounts throughout are discoloured and tarnished. The lower plinth and stretcher are attractively figured. There is some small patching to the edge of the frieze of the stretchers. One paw foot is loose.
