  • 93cm. high, 98cm. wide, 55cm. deep; 3ft. ½in., 3ft. 2¾in., 1ft. 9¾in.
the top inlaid with a central trellis and scroll design with a central monogram FP,  the five drawers and sides with conforming inlay, on carved bun feet, the inside of the front of the bottom drawer with a partially incomplete label `.. Chest of Drawers was a Present to my Mother from her Uncle Mr. Henry Davies who died in 1737 before my Mother had completed her tenth year 'D.GM'.
 

Condition

Good overall condition. There are some water marks which could easily be polished out. The inlaid design is rare and unusual. Age cracks to the top and sides but which do not detract. Handles original. The feet of a rare design and original.
