Condition
The dial with small chips and restoration to enamel. One foot loose, another detached but present. Sail and mast detached but present. In otherwise good condition.

L. Moinet was one of the greatest clock makers of his time and maintained a close business relationship with Pierre-Phillipe Thomire. Moinet also achieved fame with his book, Nouveau traité général et civil Astronomique et pratique de l'horlogerie, published in 1843.
