(écuelle et plateau 'nouvelle forme') each piece finely painted with colorful arrangements of flowers and fruit within kidney-shaped gilt-edged panels suspending gilt floral garlands, the écuelle and stand affixed on either side with gilt acanthus leaf handles, the cover with a pomegranate knop, the écuelle and stand with crowned interlaced L's, painter's mark for Jean-Nicolas Le Bel in yellow on the ecuelle and black on the stand, gilder's mark for Étienne-Henry Vincent in yellow, the stand with date mark y and 108.A in underglaze-blue, the écuelle with A in underglaze-blue.

Condition

Some minor occasional wear to gilding. The cover has a small restored chip to the rim of the cover associated with an approximate 1-inch area of regilding. One handle of the stand has a small chip at the edge.
