each porphyry breakfronted top above a conforming frieze with ebonized molded edges and applied with a star to the corners raised on Egyptian Lion-head monpodia decorated with scales and palmetts ending in paw feet before a mirrored back raised on a breakfronted plinth. Porphyry tops later, one mirror replaced.
Condition
Overall very good condition; porphyry tops later and with some minor infilled chips to some edges; one mirror plate replaced; mirrors with some pitting and losses to silvering; the patinated and gilt-bronze supports appear to have been cleaned and with some minor nicks and dents; the mahogany veneers in good condition with a polished surface and with minor nicks scratches and wear to the extremities mainly to the bottom edges of the plinths.
