the padded backrest with serpentine cresting rail flanked by padded armrests with flower-head terminals on downswept supports above a square over-upholstered seat raised on foliate rocaille-carved cabriole legs ending in scrolled toes, on casters.  Contemporary needlework associated.

Condition

Overall good condition; the associated contemporary needlework in good condition with some areas of in-stitching; the chair in good condition with some small nicks and scratches; the back and right seat rails are replaced as well as the back right corner strut; some minor worm damage to struts; some old worn chips to scrolled toes; nice color, finely carved and good proportions. Formerly with an Antique Dealers' Fair label to the front rail.
